Alliance Unleashed
Coming in 2027!
Fact-based fiction or tomorrow’s headlines? You decide.
Award-winning author Raymond Paul Johnson delivers a pulsating 21st century political thriller that sweeps from the Philippines to Asia’s Golden Triangle to the beach cities of Southern California.
CIA pilot-turned-lawyer Eric Ridge is back and must stop an Alliance of Los Angeles gang members and international terrorists weaponizing social media, and kidnapping, smuggling, and murdering their way to world dominance.
The Alliance, led by his arch-nemesis Calvin Hess and secretly funded by lawyers stealing from clients and colluding with judges, bureaucrats and politicians, intends to wield unrestrained power and influence. Ridge’s interference unleashes violence that tears apart his law firm, his family, and friends.
Will Ridge and his small legal team stop the Alliance? Or will they be silenced—permanently—like all the others?
Advance Praise
“Plot/Idea: Johnson’s Alliance Unleashed is a fast-paced adventure, immediately dropping readers into the jungles of the Philippines, where all kinds of danger is afoot. Meanwhile, situated in pristine California seaside bungalows, an alliance of villains wanting nothing less than world domination schemes to make their debut. The result is a winning combination of nonstop action, a host of hyperbolic characters, and an exciting plot to take over the world.
Prose: Alliance Unleashed reads like an action movie, which is not an easy feat. From a heart-pounding escape in the Philippines to a ragtag group of evil masterminds discussing their next ploy in the pristine hills of California, Johnson deliciously pushes the narrative through dramatic entrances, scene changes, and a slew of intense fights.
Originality: Alliance Unleashed takes readers on a frenzied ride around the world, introducing a zany cast and non-stop thrills. With its over-the-top evil schemers and loveable protagonists, it both fulfills beloved tropes and presents a new twist on a classic genre.
Character/Execution: The sexy, femme-fatale; the scheming, mad genius; the ex-military guy who really knows his stuff but just might be a little old for all this action—Alliance Unleashed offers a satisfying panorama of characters…. [and] Johnson more than delivers with fast pacing, high stakes, and a satisfying ending.”
